Doctors' appointments are in great demand. But things happen, we know, and sometimes you have to cancel. In that case, we ask for the courtesy of 24 hours' advance notice, so we may offer your time slot to another patient. Because of the high number of patients who don't keep their appointments, or don't give us adequate cancellation notice, we must enforce the following policy.

It will be counted as a "no show" if:

• you do not keep your appointment
• you do not give at least 24 hours notice when cancelling an appointment
• you are given an emergency appointment on the day you call, and you do not come to the office or cancle the visit

Patients who have three "no shows" will be required to pay a $20 fee, due before making your next appointment. A warning letter is sent out after two missed appointments. If the "no show" problem continues, you may be asked to leave the Practice.

This policy was created for the benefit of all patients; we want to assure that those patients in need of our attention will be able to receive it in a timely manner. Please remember to be considerate of other patients as well as your physician.
